im ordering a presilencer soon i want to know what kinds of catbacks will bolt up to the 2.5 inch presilencer if not all

 

My question is where are you going to put the 2.5in presilencer? Did you also get the RB header?

 

Anything that uses the stock mounting location. The presilencer will terminate where the main cat used to.

 

I believe the pre-silencer is intended to be used IN PLACE OF the presilencer. It is set up with the split air pipe already. At least it is on mine. The presilencer bolts directly to the header, then whatever exhaust you're using, bolts to the outlet end of the presilencer, at least thats the way mine is setup. I have an Apexi N1-dual after the pre. You'll probably have to modify any "out-of-the-box" exhaust systems due to lengths.

 

i already have an rb cat replacement pipe (downpipe) for NA's the presilencer will bolt up to that. The question i have is do all catbacks including 3 inch catbacks bolt up to the 2.5 inch presilencer

 

Just the 2.5."

Most taper down to 2.5" like the GT Spec, Borla, Apexi' and so forth.
