jimmyv13 - I'm running dual supertrapps on my street RX-7. And its still loud with 7 disc in each muffler. Coming off the stock exhaust manifold I have a straight pipe with a presilencer then the split to the Supertrapps. I have run the car without any disc or the cap in place and it gives me a headache after 15-20 minutes. With one Supertrapp I imagine it will be louder than mine depending on the number of disc you use.

When you say "it's still loud with 7 discs in each muffler".... how loud is it? Can you compare it to anything?

Which supertrapps are you using? The one that Mazdaspeed was talking about has a 3.5" inlet and a 5" tip.

My car is still loud but not headache loud with the 7 disc. I'm running two 4" supertrapp's with 2.5" inlet that have been repacked with stainless steel wool. My version of loud might be different than yours. My car does sound good. At one Porsche driving event near my house I got to take some touring laps(nothing over 55mph) and I had two or three comment that the car sounds real good like that(with 7-8 disc). Not obnoxious just noticable.
