RB header to stock cat

i plan on buying a header soon but would like to keep at least one cat for emissions (i live in california), and i want to go racing beat, but i've heard that the RB header wont bolt up to the main cat. anyone know what the gap is? i have a friend who has access to a metal shop and could make a short connector for me he just needs to know how long.

i am pretty sure the transition from the cat to header wodultn be straight, so you better do it at his place of work so it mates up fine.

it should be straigt, since the header/presilencer combo bolts up to the stock y-pipe.

The header will not bolt up to the stock cat location. The stock cat is 17.5" long and the racing beat presilencer is 20" long, leaving a 2.5" gap from the header to the cat.
