Yep, that's about the same as mine....
If you stay out of the throttle, you dont even notice the difference in tone, really.
But, when you jump on it, & run it up to 6k... you'll most DEFINATELY notice the increase in sound & pure sex of the tone.

Anyhow, a header doesn't make a noticable difference over a superflo, but the more modifications (espcially porting) that occur, the more it makes sense.

Dude get the RB header and presilencer, I guarantee you will be happy and see a difference. Swap a cat in when it comes time for inspection.
The stock exhaust manifold is very restrictive, as are the catalytic converter(s). The butt dyno registered a VERY noticable increase. Which probably means in the realm of 15-20 WHP. It was most noticable in 3rd gear. Where it just pulled MUCH harder to redline. 4th gear was very noticable, as well.
My mods in sig.

When I had a RB header, the presilencer made a huge difference in how it sounded. I think somebody already mentioned the presilencer is pretty much the heart of the RB sound.
As far as the power, like I said earlier, the stock exhaust manifold is a big bottle neck.

IMO the heart of the RB sound is in the mufflers, and the thick wall tubing they use throughout the system probably has something to do with it, as well.

I think the most noticeable difference with the full RB exhaust, teamed with an intake, is top speed. With a completely stock setup, it's extremely hard to accelerate past 100-110mph. With the full breathability..it continued to pull super hard, even at those speeds.

I'm all about gettin rid of the cat. Even with the stock downpipe I still noticed a huge difference. If you've got an older car with a cat it'll be nice and clogged I bet. Just order a header and a high quality high flow cat to help get you past emissions.

When my car was stock I managed to take it up to ~140 mph. That's what the speedo said. My guess would be around 130-135. I haven't tried to top her out since, but I've taken bursts to 125-130 without much trouble. Stock ports, too.
