RB downpipe+pre silencer

I am looking for a cat replacement. Right now i have a rb cat back and i am probly going to get the down pipe and pre silencer to go with it. I just have a few questions. How much louder will it be, and it claims to make 18 more hp is that true? and will it stink?

Well, I have a dynomax cat-back, and i just put mine in. It doesn't sound much louder. Horsepower gains... I don't know about 18hp.... My cats were clogging so i might have had that much. But if your aren't clogging, I would say maybe +5hp at the wheels?

Is your car turbo? If so, then getting bigger exhaust all the way will drop turbo lag. Maybe give +15hp at the wheels.... god i wish i was FI.... grrr

Anywho. I think they are kool. Good buy. Next I am getting headers.

My car is a na. I am not replacing the whole exhaust. i already have a rb catback. I am just adding the down pipe and pre silencer. I think i will get a good jump up in power because its the original cat so its probly clogged.
