Talking rattle can job pics!

Ok so finally this weekend i got around to painting my car flat black with spray paint. Overall i think it turned out pretty good, i still have to sand it down a little and put another coat on to get it totally even but i think it looks pretty bad ***. I also installed my bonez race pipe and CS cat back. That set up is ******* loud and i can definetly feel the extra hp up top. I'm not feeling too muh down low because i wired my 5th and 6th ports open because they were stuck and weren't working at all. but anyways here's the pics let me know what you guys think.

hahaha... all that red in the engine bay... looks pretty wicked from the outside though... just sand it down nice, and start clear-coating.

because i don't have enough for a real paint job, i figured this would be easier to do than a shinny color, and it looks really hot at night.

Sport Compact Car sure has some influence. Now you just need some Bronze Volks and giant Brembo Calipers w/cross drilled rotors to be project silvia's Mazda twin.

i'm really not too worried about not haveing enough power for around where i live, most kids have saturns or a focus or cavaliers or sunfires. alot of domestic rice. and i've only seen a few other 7's in the area and none of them are anything special. plus even if i can't win in a drag race against a kid, i'm willing to bet i would beat most around a turn. I have illuminas and prokits on my car.

what do you guys think of my painting my rims black too? or would that be overkill? I would go with a glossy black for the rims i think but it's just a thought.

I say leave the rims alone until you can get some bronze ones. I wouldnt bother with clear coat either, just get a few more coats of black on there. Personally I would have used a darker black.

well if i went with a glossy paint i would be darker but a flat black paint looks more like a really dark grey with all the flats i've seen. but it came out the exact color i was going for. just need to do a little touch up
