ratcheting noise

I searched and found no answers,

I have a 91 vert and when my engine is idling down, in gear or neutral, I hear a ratcheting sound. it sounds like it is coming from the drivetrain. Any advice will be help

i thought my motor mount was bad untill i discovered it was my strut tower bar hitting the power steering rack, duh!

I suppose a pilot bearing could make a "ratcheting" sound. Have you ever had a clutch job done?
