Random quick question on floorboard..

My TII has a hump in the drivers side floorboard about 6 inches from the door from the pedals to the seat. I've never sat in another RX7.. is this normal? The framerail underneath has dmg from PO, so wondering if it has bent the floorboard or normal.

Post a picture?

This does not sound normal. Maybe someone let the car down off a jack onto something.

They definitely lifted the car by the frame rail.. or dropped it on something .. or ran over a boulder.... There's a huge dent in the rail. I just wanted to know if the floorboard was bent from that. I'll post pictures ..

I'm contemplating how to fix it now.

Without seeing pictures a fix is hard to guess.

But likely involves using a slide hammer to pull the frame rail back down while also tapping the hump with a hammer to encourage it to move. The sides of the frame are probably buckled out so as you slide hammer it down, also tap the sides with the hammer to ask them nicely to return to their original position.
