Random bucking

The car just starting making a random bucking tonight. Things I've done to the car lately include...

-new UIM gasket
-new fuel injector O rings
-fixed broken reverse light wires (on trans.)

I experienced the "starts and dies when cold" syndrom after the UIM gasket. It doesn't die if you hold the gas pedal down to keep it at 800RPM for 20 or so seconds. I'm taking it that my idling was compensating for a vac leak. I upped the idle ever so slightly. Seemed to work better.

The secondary plates and thermo pelet have been removed for about 7 months now but worked fine idle wise pryor to this.

Now when I drove it home tonight (2 days after fixing all this) it was doing a ranom bucking thing when I'd try to push the gas a little harder.

Could the fuel pump be going out? Suggestions?
