Ramair hood interest?

I found someone who is willing to build fiberglass hoods like mine. Is there any true interest in this style hood? He can do either stock latch or hood pins to reduce the weight even further. We do not have a weight or estimated cost yet. I am just checking for interest. Just to let you all know I will not be paid any commision on any hoods, I like the design and want others to have it.

yup, i think it doesn't belong on a FC either... it doesn't look right with the styling of our cars and degrades all FCs.

unless by functional you mean dumps air onto the top of your manifold then no. its not ramming air into the intake. Maybe if you had a n/a, a stand alone to get rid of the afm and some super custom thing to make the air intake inlet sit up there...

The how could you run a air filter?

that would be tons of work.... but i guess its possible.

it might not look so half assed if the hood was the same color but a) it looks ricey with the black and red combo, b) it looks like a half breed with the hood pins. change those and i would maybe change my mind but until then it doesn't look even remotely right.

and sorry if i hurt your pride, this is my opinion and my opinion only, some may like it but i don't.

to each his own I guess. I'd rather go with a ram air left side headlight cover (assuming those are functional)

doesnt look THAT bad. Sure is unique without a doubt and I respect it for what it is but I dont think it would sell that well because it doesnt really fit well with the lines of the car but doesnt look that bad on your car with its purpose to match the 8 under the hood.

I Like the looks is the main reason for it, as of now it is for looks but the fiberglass version can be much more useful.
