Ram air setup
Ram air setup
Yea I got a T2 hood for my N/A car and was curious if anyone had ever done a Ram air setup with the scoop? Redirecting the airbox and filter to run off the scoop of course. And if so any info on doeing it.

I think it's too far up the hood for a ram air application. If you search the 'net for images of fuel-injected ram air cars, most of the scoops are near the leading edge of the car.

Take a close look at how the piping runs from the turbo to what used to be the TMIC. It is now an air cleaner!
I plan on making one of these to finally get cool air into the engine and utilize what small ram air effect the hood scoop might have.
On a N/A car it might not work, however I have seen what looks like a cowl induction box on the current RX-8 race car from SpeedSource.
