Rain Drops keep faillin' on my head....

Ok, I can't sing the tune!! I have some water issues as the door frame seals on my 88 Vert have receeded. The issue seems to be at the top where the little rubber catch basin is. It just isn't going to the top floor!

Has anyone done any rubber extensions on this to prolong the replacement of the seal? How tough is it to change the door rubber seals?

That seal is probably the easiest of all the top seals to replace and maybe should take 15 minutes a side.

You can use 100% silicon rubber for reparing it, but make sure that the existing part is extra clean by a good solvent like acetone before applying the silicon.

But if it is leaking there, chances are the targa side seals (top of the window) are shot.
