The single Blue/red is a constant hot.

The single white is a negative trigger for the heardrest amp. If you want your headrest speakers to work as stock with an aftermarket head unit. you connect that wire to the "remote amp" trigger wire from the head unit.

well, the PO took the side speakers out of the door panels -____- just great.
how do I make the headrest speakers work? and what are the side speakers the same size as the ones under the steering wheel and glove-box?

The door speakers are 5.25's. I'll bet the wiring for them is still in the door.

The answer to any other wiring and/or how to make work questions can be found here:

if you want the headrest speakers to work. you need to make sure the front speakers are wired up to the head unit and that white wire is hooked up to the remote amp trigger switch. the front and headrest speaker audio run through the same set of wires coming out of the dash but the headrest speakers have there own amp. what ever you do, dont go to a stereo installer. i went to 3 and they all told me i would have to give up my headrest speakers.

yea I saw the white wire for the headrest speakers with the pic I posted earlier. I wouldn't know how to wire it somehow to run to the remote amp trigger switch..

Oh then you just mate the white wire with the blue amp trigger wire on the deck and your done. I used a metra kit to wire up the headrest input. But that kit doesn't include a connector for the amp so I just used a wire tap.

the blue/white wire from the radio or the blue wire that came with the wire connectors to the stock wiring harness

In my install it was a solid blue wire that comes out the back of the stereo. It had a tag on it that said remote. On my deck the blue white wire was for a powered antenna. What deck are you putting in.

there's a tag on it that said something about it not being the remote amp but for the antenna like you said. And it's a old JVC radio with aux port. I just needed some music but when I ordered the connectors from bestbuy the only two colors I didnt use was a solid blue and orange wires, and the purple/green ones were for rear speakers if I had a hardtop

I say try the solid blue do you still have door speakers? You have to wire up those rears for the doors to work. Oh and on some decks the power antenna cable and amp trigger are the same wire.
