Ok, so first step, get your car on a level ground. jack it up, and put it on jackstands

-disconnect the battery and remove it from the car.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/49867867@N03/5480053830/" title="DSC_0490 by crazychrisbiker, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5220/5480053830_894fa6b95b_z.jpg" width="640" height="428" alt="DSC_0490" /></a>

-take the tray out also, there is 2 or 3 bolts that hold the tray down.

-get under the car and take off your splash shield and start to drain the coolant. theres a 14mm drain plug located right at the bottom of the radiator take that off and let it drain.

-take the cap off, along with the overflow hose.

-take off the top radiator hose and set it aside.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/49867867@N03/5480054752/" title="DSC_0491 by crazychrisbiker, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5054/5480054752_96bd82aff4_z.jpg" width="640" height="428" alt="DSC_0491" /></a>

-grab a 10mm wrench and take off the 4 nuts holding on your fan, remove it and put it aside

**- people with there stock air box have to remove the half of it in order to get to the lower hose, in my case, i dont have to.

-take off the heater hose, near the lower rad. hose, and move it aside

-take off the lower radiator hose

-there are 4 12mm bolts that support the radiator, take them off and pull out the radiator with the shroud

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/49867867@N03/5480056390/" title="DSC_0493 by crazychrisbiker, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5016/5480056390_2b791ae2cb_z.jpg" width="428" height="640" alt="DSC_0493" /></a>

-take the 4 10mm bolts that hold on the shroud on the radiator, and remove it

-take the shroud an mount it to your new radiator, in my case i had to trim the shroud in order for it to clear the fan.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/49867867@N03/5479178869/" title="new rad by crazychrisbiker, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5212/5479178869_7bcbef4175_z.jpg" width="640" height="428" alt="new rad" /></a>

-put the 4 10mm bolts back in to support the shroud.

-install the radiator in your car and put those 4 12mm bolts in to secure the radiator down.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/49867867@N03/5480053006/" title="DSC_0500 by crazychrisbiker, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5291/5480053006_2a041f65b9_z.jpg" width="640" height="428" alt="DSC_0500" /></a>

-IF you bought a aluminum radiator and not a direct replacement like corksport, racing beat, etc. then you need to cut a small amount off your top and bottom radiator hoses so they dont kink. (i had to cut about a 1inch off the top, and 3/4 of an inch on the bottom hose.)

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/49867867@N03/5480051158/" title="DSC_0498 by crazychrisbiker, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5219/5480051158_65830162ce_z.jpg" width="640" height="428" alt="DSC_0498" /></a>

-now its just a matter of doing the steps in reverse order to finish the job up!

I hope this helps, and if i missed anything please let me know..

chris

Not bad.
One note however...
Metric hardware is specced by the shaft size, not the head.
The bolts you refer to are actually 6mm and 8mm, not 10 & 12.

so update as of... TODAY.

car is running great! NO heating issuse, even on the hottest of days, here in cali.

one thing i found... once you cut into the shroud to clear the fan blades (with stock clutch type fan) it makes at least 5x the noise, im talkin about the fan.

an easy way to fix... dont cut the hole at all, take a heat gun, warm up the area were you would instead cut the hole and PUSH from the inside out with a handle of some sort, 2 people makes this wayyy easier.

push the shroud until you have at least .5" of clearance between the fan blades and plastic shroud.

will post pics of my shroud.
