Radiator question
Two part question,...this is for a 1988 none turbo RX7
I purchased a radiator cap not for the radiator itself but for the other radiator cap that sits right by the thermostat...
hope that makes sense!!!
however, does it make a difference if the new cap has a spring, but the old cap didn't...the new cap looks simular to the radiator cap....can i USE IT?
if the radiator was losing pressure...would it cause the engine to break down the oil faster?...thus causing the car to use oil?

I am putting in 1 quart every 100 miles
no smoke
no burning
no leaks,
but a few of the guy's here told me that my oil seals are going bad...but I was hoping that the car was running to hot because of the bad cap..plus causing the car to use up the oil
