radiator fan
radiator fan
So on my way home tonight the radiator fan seperated itself from the disc that it bolts onto. The bolts are no where to be found. Anyone know the size of the bolt that fixes it to the disc? Hopefully i can manage my way down to the autoparts store or home depot and get the bolts.
Thnx

E Fan is a very bad idea unless your forced to replace it.
I Found even more proof of this when i got my new radiator called up PWR as they custom make them, they were going to make me a 40mm core and when i said i wanted the SPAL fan mounts on it he told me the only way you could use the thinner radiator was the keep the stock fan (keep in mind i got the top of the line spal fan that pulls over 3000cfm) so i had to go to the 55mm core. So yeah more proof that thermos suck donkey ***** when compared to the stock fan

There is nothing wrong with going to an electric fan setup. They save space, look cleaner in the engine bay, and take a smidge of stress off the waterpump. Stocker's are great for an unmodded car, but there arent alot of radiators that will continue to accomadate the stock fan and shroud due to size. If you go aftermarket radiator, chances are there are no mounts for anything, and its usually thicker than the stock radiator itself. So by the time you get mounts fabbed onto the radiator, the fan shroud is no longer able to fit or now interferes with everything.
