radiator cooling panel with stock intake/snorkel bad idea?

i made a radiator cooling panel and i just realized it blocks the ducting that leads air to the stock intake snorkel..so i assume it would be a bad idea to install it? (unless i cut out a hole for the air flow)

my car is stock so i do not want to remove the stock intake as it is the most efficient in my circumstance.

I'm assuming it covers the same areas that others do. Like corksport's for instance. The stock plastic radiator ducting already blocks air flow from the bottom, so the air can only be coming from the sides, near the headlights. If your panel leaves those areas open, and doesn't physically cover the intake duct, it should be ok.
