Question Radiator air deflector mod question

I see everyone make a flat piece of aluminum and use that for there air deflector. What if I made the aluminum pieces like the original plastic pieces, or do people do a flat piece for more air to the radiator?

The "cooling panel" is used when you remove the OEM airbox & intake ducting only. You'll need some way to get cool air to the cone intake, like buying/making a cold airbox, having stamped/cutting your headlight cover, or removing the FTP lense.

These guys sell the intake, bolt on cold airbox, & can stamp your headlight cover: www.mariahmotorsports.com
