Racing seat install problem

I have a problem I just recently bought a brand new pair of racing seats and you know how the passenger side slider on the side towards the console is slanted up insteac of lying flat on the floor like by the door? Anyways I installed it and the seat is slanted towards the door because its uneven, does this mean i need to drill a hole in the floor or is there another way?

you may have pulled the slider by accident before you had them installed... try pulling up on the slider and then moving it back and fourth, you may be able to line it up that way.

Im not sure that will help because i mounted it on the slanted part of the floor and the other one on the flat part of the floor and on the old seats they were made on the bottom to be slanted so it will sit perfectly even.

either you have to make custom brackets or you can use the stock slider. i had the same problem when i went to install mine. eventually im going to make custom sliders but for now the way it is mounted evenly is with about an inch and a half od spacers and a longer bolt from homedepot. they are in the bolt section in the pull out draws. the seats i bought came with one spacer about 1 cm thick for all 4 bolts. and i needed to have 2 on the door side and none on the tranny side.

Try installing about 1/2" spacers under between the slider and the seat on the side closest to the passenger door.
