Lightbulb Racing or Dot Brake lines?

I just started my shopping for 4 piston brake lines to go along with my 5 lug conversion and found both DOT approved and Racing brake lines. What is the difference. I found them on mazdatrix and there is no explanation what so ever. Here are the links.

I dont care much about them being legal as my car is already quite aginst the law emissions wise and i have never seen a legit inspection. I just want to know if the racing lines are better since theyre not that much more money.

get the dot. they have a protective coating for street use. the racing only lines tend to leak after a while when used on the street.
