racing beat w/out smog pump removal

i purchased a full racing beat REV II exhaust which i installed on my 88 turbo II. i never removed the smog pump nor did i install the block off plates. can this cause some type of damage.. for example a lean condition or something of that type?? it seems like there is plenty of boost but no go, as if it's starving for fuel.

Thanks for any info.

the RB system comes with a block off plate for the pipe from the engine to the cat... i still have my air pump, no stock airbox, so i just need to stick a filter on the pump inlet.
oh, and you should probably be hitting fuel cut too. that system frees up the flow an insane amount, thats why they recommend you get their FCD too, which i also did.

sorry but i meant to say i bought the system second hand so i didnt get any of the "extras" for installing the system from racing beat. i managed to wedge a large bolt in the rubber portion of the pipe that runs from the cat to the engine. i know it sounds ghetto but it actually works well. i did get and install the FCD thought. thanks

nope, removing the smog pump isn't needed, and doesn't have any effect at all on anything, except actually emissions are slightly lower than without
