Racing Beat Turbo II Presilenser (who really makes it)

Does anyone know who makes the presilenser that racing beat sells for the T2? I know they must get the actual muffler somewhere else and weld up the pipes for the t2 system. Just like on the first gens they use a prima flow muff made by someone else. The reason I'm asking is I just need the "can" part of it and not the piping because it will be used for a custom turbo system. I will need to make my own piping and just hate to buy the whole thing and hack it up.

thanks

You don't even have to buy the Racing Beat presilencer (although I must admit... whoever made the presilencer, whether it's RB themselves or whomever, made a real nice-sounding piece).

If you're looking for maximum sound suppression with minimum restriction, get any straight-through style muffler in the lrargest volume possible to fit under your car. Make sure to avoid mufflers which are packed with fiberglass. Look for something packed with SS mesh.

I believe they are all made in-house now.
They used to be made by RS*R of Japan, but this was the older stuff.

You can use almost any straight-through muffler for a pre-silencer.

If you are going to use a straight through mufffler for a presilencer... make sure you use one that has stainless steel packing material.... the heat from out cars will destroy a traditional glass pack in a matter of minutes.
