Question Racing Beat Turbo Exhaust Compatibility

I recently picked up a used racing beat exhaust to replace the full corksport exhaust I had, and the replacement racing beat unit did not come with a downpipe.

thinking that they would all be the same, i tried connecting the corksport DP to the racing beat presilencer, and lo and behold, the corksport DP is 3-4 inches too long to make the connection.

I believe that the racing beat unit is the older style, not the REVII, as some of the mounting brackets look a bit different from the one on the racing beat website, the tips are different ("RB" is carved into the top of the tip instead of "Racing Beat" printed on the side of the tips).
Anyone know if this detective work is correct?

Additionally, this means I need to get a compatible downpipe, and my question is; Can i just bolt up a new RB REVII downpipe or do i need to find a downpipe from the older generation turboback exhaust?
Are there other companies that sell a downpipe that will fit correctly?

cant you just cut a 3-4" section out of the corksport downpipe, or the RB exhaust and have it welded?

should take 20 minutes of your time.

Thought about that, but I figured it would be much easier to sell the corksport exhaust as a whole turboback, plus that way I know I will have a downpipe that fits perfect.

you have a good point, to offset the cost of the DP you can sell your current set up

BUT- the next question is will the new RB downpipe line up with your older exaust? Is it the stainless or the mild steel version?

Ask Racing Beat, they have always been very helpfull to me in the past.

OR take your current pipe off and have it modified.

call up RB and get the matching DP. I know the old 2.5" isn't compatible with the new REVII 3"

btw I dont think combos of different brands of parts will bolt right up to each other.

I have a REV TII silencer back and a Himni DP, but had to get a small section of the exaust from the DP to the silencer fabricated.

Im pretty sure RB website says it will only work with thier DP
