Racing beat turbo back styles
I have a bone stock 87 TII which badly needs it's exhaust replaced. The exhaust glowed red when I bought it late last summer before storing it all winter. It's prolly clogged. I did lots of searching and I'm sold on the RB full exhaust. Someone's selling an older system which is not like the system RB is selling now. The presilencer looks different and the y pipe has flanges at different spots, otherwise it claims to free up as much power as the new one. The following link are pics of the system for sale. Hope the other guy doesn't snag it

Besides not looking like being full stainless steel are there any other major differences I should be concerned about?
Thanks

The seller there says its a 2.5 inch exhaust. The new turboback is larger.

Sorry to steal it from you.. . It appears to be in great shape, I'm not too worried about the slight size increase for the new style one. Although I want the newer style presilencer (looks more like a cat, more likey to pass a rough visual inspection!), I'm going to make due with the older style, which looks like less of a restriction to me.
Overall looks like a good unit, at a fair price. I can't wait to get it.

I'm not sure about you guys but......................
I recently had Magnaflow Dual/Dual hooked up to my RB True Dual Header. The guys put the mandrel bent tubing inbetween the header and the stock rear mufflers. With the Magnaflow Presilencer it only cost me $300 bux.
So a Custom Mandrel bent system completly installed in about an 1 1/2 hour cost me $300 at a corner muffler shop. Granted its not Stainless steel but who can see it anyway?

My name is Wonko T. Sane. I have a confession to make: I, Wonko T. Sane, am a Racing Beat *****.
Now that's out of the way: I really do find RB to have high quality stuff, with their components responding/performing exactly as they say they will. I have a lot of RB products on my Miata, and I'm very happy with them. I was looking at some other options for the exhaust when this popped up. I have no problem paying a little more for what I consider garanteed quality.

I'm willing to spend the cash on the RB stuff too. Just that the 790 and taxes for me works out to be well over a grand and then some shipping so its like 1200 for me when I'm all done. Could of been worse if our dollar wasn't creeping up so much on yours lately!!
