Couple of centemeters? That seems like an awful lot. Jack the front of the car up from the center, this will let the unibody settle out level, and should give you the extra bit you need to put it on. Its not unusual for it to be off very slghtly, but a few cm is alot. Has your car ever been in an accident?

Couple of cm = @ 7/8". After a period of time, as stated above, the strut towers have a tendency to "come in". This is why a strut brace should have been part of the assembly process.

Could also mean the strut tower mounts are bad. That was my case.

Yeah my cusco didnt fit on the front because of the mounts being bad. Just normal driving over the period of 10yrs can damage them too.
