racing beat resonator with custom 3" exhaust?

i have a 3" stainless steel turbo back exhaust (custom) going to a 3" inlet N1 style muffler (77 bucks shipped on ebay, very high quality) its passenger side exit.
the sound of the exhaust is great, however it is very loud. and since my motor is ported (or so we believe, its a jspec and sounds very ported) the sound could be a little "smoother"

anyways, i was thinking that maybe someone on here has used RB's 3" inlet/outlet resonator (the one that they use on the 3" turboback exhaust) i was thinking this would really help make my exhaust note a little smoother without making me lose much (if any) power... what do you all think?

No, it won't.

You need a slant, straight-through, perforated tube muffler.

I am running a 3" turbo back.

Custom DP to the rb presilencer, then to the fc3s.org catback, I just modified the cat back to a "full" 3in. It sounds wonderful, I'd make it work if I were you.

Custom is the key to making this work.

I have a RB 2.5 inch DP to 2.5 inch Presilencer to my 3 inch Corksport catback.

It is pretty loud but the silencer helps so much.

At idle it is as loud if not quieter than my car was with the NA engine in there with a cat! My Na engine had Bonez silencer/and cat to the CS single.

If you know NA's they are loud! Well the turbo without a cat is at the same noise level pretty much as a NA with cat.

I am having the "Too Loud issue" with the corksports catback, and no silencer. My plan is to get a Borla 3 inch mufler and use it as a pre silencer.
