racing beat FCD

quick question = quick answer....

with the racing beat FCD...how much PSI is it telling the system i am running...and what will it hit cut at....

im gonna run racing beat turbo back and intake, so i need FCD just wondering about the racing beat one...

Check the clamp voltage after the fcd.

It tells the ECU the max boost allowable before fuel cut. So past fuel cut, the ECU is only giving you 8psi worth of fuel, or whatever the cut may be.

I thought the cut was 8.8psi, but im not 100% sure.

You're right Tony, it's around 8.7-8.8, depending on the clamp voltage is what decides on where your ECU will stop adding fuel, you can clamp it at 5 if you really want, though i suggest you don't! If it's clamped too near, heat and other factors may cause it to accidently 'jump' into fuel cut territory, and well, that's not good. This is why they set them reasonably below fuel cut (around 8psi) or so.
