Racing Beat exhaust interchangeable?

Ok guys... my 86 has an Apex N1 catback and my TII has the full Racing Beat system. Bottom line is the TII is too quiet and the NA is too loud so all I want to do is swap them. Will the N1 bolt up to the Racing Beat midpipe??? It looks close but I can't tell if they are exact without taking the whole thing off and trying it to see. If someone has any experience please share...

There is some confusion about the RB exhaust parts. The complete system only works with other replacement parts that are made for the "system" I don't think the catback from another will bolt in place of the system catback. Who knows though I would take off the catback from the one car, jack up the TII and just lay the catback under it and see how it measures out. Let me know if it does work, as I would like to finally have that answered for sure

Well it looks close but I don't think it's bolt on. The end of the silencer looks about 4-6 inches further back then the end of the main cat plus it looks like a different angle.

To add insult to injury the RB website list all of the parts with this disclaimer:
(insert part here) is intended as a bolt-on component ONLY if used with the Complete Exhaust System components.

I think that the cat-back systems can be swapped between turbo and non-turbo cars. But for the complete system you may have a problem. Give racing beat a call and see what they say, they will know. www.racingbeat.com
