Racing Beat clutch?
Has anyone tried the Racing Beat heavy duty street and strip clutch for 83-92 non turbo rx7's. I finally can afford it and was thinking of getting it. I race almost every weekend in the spring and summer, which my stock clutch could not take. If not can anyone recomend a clutch that will last in my modded gsl-se. Thanks ( oh, I know I have a 1st gen but its the same clutch and I thought I would get more replies here.)

I have knowledge on the RB one, but my suggestion would be to go with ACT. They have a great reputation are also very streetable. I drove a buddies car with an ACT street/strip setup and it felt very nice. He's running a custom turbocharged Probe GT with 257HP to the wheels. He drives it hard and takes it to the track pretty much all season. His ACT clutch is holding up great.

i previously had the hd s/s clutch and pressure plate in my '90 gxl. i used it for autox, daily driving, etc... and it was great. the pedal feel is a bit stiffer, but easy to get used to. earlier this year i had the rb race clutch installed. it has quite a bit more pressure and grabs like all get out. i haven't tried any other clutches, but have been very happy w/ the rb stuff.
good luck,
