Racing Beat 3" downpipe
Has anyone had any luck searching for a replacement 3" downpipe ? Racing Beat now has the REVII and it won't bolt up to the older version. They don't make any replacement parts for the older version which is really fuucked up if someone ever needs to replace a part.
They have a 2.5 replacement but not the 3" ?? Doesn't make sense.
If anyone has the old downpipe, I'd like to purchase that.

I just installed a brand new stainless steel REV II downpipe to a very old school RB REV presilencer connected in turn to a very old school RB REV Y-Pipe/Exhaust. Not only did the new REV II Downpipe bolt right up to the ancient RB presilencer with no hassle, but the entire system lined up PERFECTLY from Turbo to tail with no tweaking needed with new replacement hangers or slop adjustment at all.
What their 3" down pipe WON'T bolt up to is the 2 1/2 inch presilencer. But their 2 1/2 inch downpipe will bolt up to an old school presilencer perfectly as well. Been there, done that as well.
Gotta love Racing Beat stuff!!!

What?? You fuuckin kidding me!
The new REVII 3" downpipe bolts up to the old 3" Racing Beat exhaust???
Why the hell they say it won't fit?? I kinda wondered about that since the only difference it looked like was the stainless steel.
If it does, thanks a bunch because that saves me a lot of headache trying to fab. one.

I'm sure something got lost in the translation when you spoke to them. When I went there to buy the DP I told them what I was going to do and nary a comment it would be a problem.
I'm running it right now. An honestly, I needed ZERO persuasion to bolt it all up. Smooth as silk installation. Here is a picture of it all laid out before I installed it and a close of of the presilencer so you can clearly see it is indeed old school. Note it has a rib in the middle instead of smooth as well as a flange for the mid hanger not to mention the RacingBeat embossment that is no longer being done. Further comparison, pull up their picture of the presilencer from their web site.
