Race question:TII vs. ITR

My friend just got an Integra Type R and he says he wants to race me. He has a Jackson racing s/c, intake, headers, exhaust, and some aem fuel stuff. When he gave me a ride it didn’t seem to pull as quick as my TII. I couldn’t really tell cause of the km/h stuff.

I have a 90 Turbo 2, just suspension stuff, sway bars, strut bar, bigger tires and rims.

What do u guys think?

The thing with ITR is that its pretty close with the TII in stock form. You dont have any mods, he does (JSC ? How many psi ?), and his is newer (which means it should be in better running condition)....I dont see this happening, sorry

The reason why you didnt feel any pull is because the SC does not have the "on-off" behaviour of the normal turbo. Its always there, gradually increasing boost as the rpms climb.

the ITR is probably a litter faster stock for stock than both s4 and s5 tII's. As far as handling goes it would be a close battle between the two cars. The ITR doesn't handle like and other FWD car I have ever been in. With a jrsc on the R its not looking good for you at all. If you are all stock you will most defenitely get owned. Get a downpipe, catback, and intake with some fuel on there and you might get close. Powerful FWD cars have quite the problem launching hard.

conclusion: don't even try stock

buy yourself a racing beat full exhaust system, for your TurboII, then come back and say "wanna race?"
