race or not..?

so im looking into doing a rebuild an racing beat sells these nice all in one rebuild kits

theres a racing kit and a regular kit
from what i can tell the only differance in the carbon seals

now i daily drive my rx7 so i was wondering if the race kit would still be fine

are carbon seals stronger then oem... im geussing yes

Carbon seals are for n/a motors only, they can't handle any boost. So I don't know if I would call them 'stronger' They are lighter and I believe have less friction then stock seals.

Racing Beat will tell you that the carbon seals don't seal well at low rpm, some people here have had good results with them at lower rpm.

Bottom line imo, street car street seals.

well there you go...theres alot of companys out there though that make aftermarket seals. banzai racing for example, but racing beat is a good reputable company also so its a matter of options thats all. dont overcomplicate things basically...

banzai racing does not make seals, I believe they get theirs from Rotary Aviation. Their website is not specific for N/A kits though.
