Quick wheel question

Will 15 x 7.0 | +42 offset / 5x114.3 fit the stock '88 GTU alright?

I say yes. It will move the inner part of the wheel closer to the strut, but it will only be 2mm closer to the strut than the stock 7" turbo (40mm) wheel. FYI-2mm = .08"

Yes, but keep to a 215 or narrower tire.
I think a 225 wide tire will hit up front.
