Quick TPS question

This is from the tps 101 thread:

· Unplug the TPS. On 89+ cars, you want to unplug the connector leading from the lower TPS.
· Hold the TPS connector so the hump points up. Connect your meter between top connection and rightmost connection.
On my S5 turbo, There is only one connector for both sensors that has 6 prongs. Which of these am I supposed to test from?

Check out page F1-81 of the FSM. It shows the TPS plug pin-out.

OK, I just got done setting my TPS, its at a solid 1 Kohm. I started teh car back up and it fine fine initially. Then the idle started surging about 1000 rpm up and down ant it would pop like crazy. What happened? Is it somethign dumb that I missed? What other info might you need?
