Quick Realese Bumper

Been thinking about this for awhile since im ordering a new bumper very soon . Its a real pain going after those 4 bolts IMO.Anyone done a quick realese for their FC?

It may take a little modifying but I think it should work. I believe Nakagawa was using ISIS latches on his 240sx.

I use zip ties at the fender and only bolt it on at the 4 along the radiator support area.

Works great on fiberglass bumpers. When ever I screw up and hit something the corners break the zip ties off and save the bumper from minor hits.

Mine is super ghetto, just two latches I got from the hardware store, and I ground the studs into the fender till they were round to keep alignment. Speed tested to 150+ and street driven for several thousand miles.

I take it you have and aftermarket bumper then. I know a few people who use zip ties but im looking for something a bit more sturdy thats why I was leaning towards latches.

I saw a youtube video not to long ago where some used latches that would normally be found a jeep as quick release.

here are few more pics of what im leaning towards but again think it take a little modify to work properly.

The last meet i went to there more then a few people using that type of quick release. but alot of them left gaps between the bumper and fender so i dont think they did very good job of setting it up. thats why im wanted to go with a latch set
