Quick questions regarding restoration.

I have decided to fully restore the Vert. I am looking to purchase a carpet kit as well as some other items. PLease read the following:

1) Will a coupe passenger area carpet fit in the Vert. (please be sure)

2) Does anyone know how much an OEM s5 t2 lip costs?

3) does anyone know how much a OEM SIdeskirt S5 T2 set costs?

4) What would have to be done to my Turbo Vert to make it worth between $5,000 and $8000 respectivley..?

Here are my plans: Full racing beat suspension, adjustable shocks, baer brakes up front, S5 turbo setup, HKS blow off valve, custom 22x8.5x3 intercooler, S5 mouldings, bumpers, Lip, Sideskirt set, H4 conversion, Strut bar, Turbo timer, manual boost controller, New carpet and seats, custom guages, 17" exel wheels with new tires (35mm offset) T2 fuel pump, t2 injectors. S5 tails.. RB downpipe.. A bunch of other little items including a fresh coat of better then factory quality paint..

I have most of the items listed other then the 3 listed above... Does it sound feasable to appraise the car in the price range listed with those mods???

Thanks for the help.

front carpet fits, back is a slightly different trim, you can use some of the back with minor trimming.

question 2 and 3 I don't know

question 4 You have to put 10 to 20 grand for it to be worth that. No rotary is going to be worth whatever you put in.

Trust me I am no stranger to loosing money on Rotary Powered cars... It was sparked by an ebay listing that ended locally here, a stock T2 Trasplant into a vert went for $5900.. The car was in Good condition... But the thought of $5-8k when I did decide to sell sounded good....

OEM S5 Front lip (dealer's list price in CDN dollars) = $804.56
OEM S5 Side skirts (dealer's list price in CDN dollars)= $232.56(front right) $248.06(front left) $421.49 (right rear) $449.55 (left rear)

Ive sold TII skirts for 150 used, you can find similar with some hunting no doubt.......the lip? best of luck on the hunt RRTEC!!

IMHO a vert with those parts and a strong running motor (and obviously clean body if you're painting it) should EASILY yeild 6,500 dollars........no sweat!

#1 yes, but the supports behind the seat force the carpet tp bunch up a little there.
#2 and #3 an arm and a leg (try : http://www.mazdapartscheap.com/ they seem to have pretty decent prices on that stuff)
#4 stick a couple of stacks/wads of money on the passengers seat.

1. Never tried so I'm not sure.
2. There is one, brand new in box, on eBay right now for $400 - $500
3. They pop on eBay for around $200
4. First off, if you leave it stock the more it will be worth. You can't guage what it will be worth after it's been "modded". You could put $50k into it and it wouldn't be worth a dime to me. To each his own.
