quick questions about cleaning engine bay
Ok I am about to clean my engine bay with GUNK foamy engine brite engine cleaner. I did a search and still have a few questions.
What parts of the engine bay/engine will I need to cover with plastic bags?
-battery, coils, alternator am I missing anything else?
Also it says to use when the engine is cold but I have read a few times that it is better to use when the engine is warm to help get the dirt and grease off the engine bay.
Need some help. Thanks guys.

Plug air intake to prevent it from aspirating water when you wash it down. BTW, it is never a good idea to wash down a hot engine with cold water particularly alumin. Risk of cracking.
