quick question on toe elimators(for peeps who installed them)

Hey,

My first question is how tight of a fit are they... can they be pressed in with a big
C clamp or do you need a vice or press..

also can i heat the alum or will they melt or mess up the bushing ...

any input is welcome

Thanx

Dustin

I had the metal shop do it along with a dissassemble of the enire rear end suspension, there were like 5 bolts they had to weld and then impact off. I think on the itemized thing, they charged me $20 for r/r of the bushings

take it to a shop... even if you don't need a press to put them in you'll need one to take the old bushings out.

they press out easily with a press and another person to help hold everything, the new ones push in with your hand very easily!

if you can cut the old ones out yourself i'm pretty sure you can put the toe elim bushings in with a vice or something.

they look like they use the original metal sleeve, if that is the case then they should just pop in easily.
