quick question need help

I recently purchased a thermostat from parts store it was listed at 192 degrees, which brings me to my question: Is that number list as the number of the thermostat when it is fully open or when it starts to open? Thanks for all the help in advance.

To save you some trouble in the future, don't install that thermostat, take it back, and pay the few extra dollars for the Mazda OEM one. You don't want to mess with ANY aftermarket thermostat when it comes to your rotary. Ask almost anyone here, they'll agree.

I'll second that. Whatever reason you have for getting an aftermarket it isn't good enough. It WILL fail within 3 months. Do a search if you don't believe us.
