Quick question... do s4 and s5 shifter levers interchange?

Seems like they would, but want confirmation.

Am wondering if the actual shifter lever(thing you grab to shift for clarification) from a s5 will swap into a s4 trans with no issues on the turbo transmissions?

Reason is, as we know the thread pitch is different, and I want the s5 for a better variety of shift *****.

Thanks for the help!

I have Mazdatrix's S5 short shifter in my S4 for the very same reason. Thread pitch, it allowed me to run an FD shift ****.
