Quick Question - coolant leak at back of block

The car's still under 2 feet of snow, but I want to get ready for the warmer weather.

When the car is cold, no coolant leak. Car warms up, Niagra Falls from the back of the block.

I'm thinking thermowax needs to be replaced - am I on the right track?

yeah, i just fixed that, doing the same thing. its the hose that goes from the TB to the rear housing(The Cold Start System or thermowax's source for warm coolent...) Anyway thats the most probable caust, but its a PITA to get to. took me an Hour or so to replace without removing the UIM...

Where is the leak from? If it's coming out of the clutch/flywheel area, there are some freeze plugs back there. You need to figure out where the leak is.

check the clamps.......I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a hose clamp not on properly.
