Quick Question about springs.

Just a quick question. I tried to search, but this is probably going to be quicker.

I'm looking at doing my suspension. I want to get the Eibach Pro-Kit for my 87 gx.

Eibach says its only for turbo modles. Just wondering if this is true, or if it will work on my na. I was prety sure that the only modle with different suspension was the convertable, but I could be wrong.

And I guess if it does only work for the turbos, whats a good alternative spring to use? Thanks guys.

Basically they will work but the rates on the springs are different because TII's are heavier and they had a diff. suspension than the "base" models in both series.

Ok. So if I'm upgrading my springs and shocks should I be using these springs or should I be looking for something different?

Sorry, but I'm definatly a new to suspension stuff. This is just a street car, and my suspenion is shot and figured I might as well upgrade while I'm fixing it. At the very most it will be used in auto-x in the future.

Thanks again

I have Eibach springs and sway bars on my 7, and they are great.
You can install the same springs that are made for turbos, onto your GXL.
No difference....they just want to confuse you...

but if I were you, I would go the full Nine Yards on it (I would change everything to brand new shocks, lowering springs, bushings, sway bars)....but thats just me ...

Ya. I'm going to do everything eventualy. But to do everything at once is expensive, and I have bad spending habbits and no cash, lol. Right now I'm planing on doing the springs and shocks to start with.

Thanks for the info mali
