quick question about racing beat headers/presilencer

ok so as i understand, the headers and the presilencer bolt right inand connect to the y pipe, with no modification need. well i was reading more in to it and racingbeat.com says that they recommenc using carbaration with this setup and not fuel injection. but is it ok to use it with fuel injection or will it not work very effecently.

also i do not see a o2 bung. what is up with that.

I believe that they're road-race header has both an O2 bung and backpressure tube for the 5/6th ports.

The Racing Beat setup is perfectly fine to use with EFI. On my Racing Beat header there is an O2 bung by the collector. Hope that helps, Racing Beat makes some killer stuff, you wont be disappointed.

should i get the streetable header or the road race header. road race is alittle bit cheaper. but they bot have o2 bungs or am i wrong.

also if i get the streetable i need to get the presilencer and it should bolt right in, no mods, right.

Get the streetable header (since it collects). The road race header is for true dual setups as in running a single uncollected pipe from each rotor. Get the streetable header and the presilencer and it will bolt right up to the stock exhaust (from cat back) or any cat-back exhaust on the market. With that setup it ends right where the stock cat ends so you remove all emissions in the exhaust system and bolt your cat back right up!

i thought that the presilencer have a backpresure outlet or does it not. i don't really necessarily want to take off my emmisions or do i need to.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I mean emissions as in cats in the exhaust. There is a presilencer for S4 86-88 cars with the tube and one without for S5. You will need to order the one with the tube for your car if its an S4.
