quick question about the afm

quick question about the afm

Is the AFM the SAME for the s4 TII and the s4 n/a?

Well I found myself asking this question about a month ago. No they arent the same, but People say they can be interchanged w/ no ill effects. My TII swap with an NA afm doesnt run now...maybe not from the afm but something with the fuel injection. So I would buy the TII afm if thats what you need, but the Na one SHOULD work.

If you look in the factory service manual, you will see that although the temperature sensors in the AFMs are the same, the flapper door resistance is different. Will an S4 work with the wrong AFM? - maybe. Will an S4 work correctly with the wrong AFM? - no.
