quick question

I'm about to go buy oil to put in my fc and i was wondering what is the best mineral oil for the car...10w40?

pop up your hood, there should be a sticker that is on the reverse side, that will tell you an outline on the correct condition for what type of oil. Hotter the weather, thicker the oil, colder the condition thinner the oil. (i think), i use 10w30.

Depends:

If you want long engine life and lasting performance use 20w-50.

For economy use 10w30. I wouldn't recommend any lighter.

When I use lighter oil my oil pressure goes really really low, just thrown it out there. Changed to some 20w-50 and it poped right back up to 20idle 50-60 above 2k
