Quick Question

The metal tube runing from the back of the engine block to the main cat, is it needed? reason i ask is cause my cat has a hole in it and i wanna replace it with a str8 pipe and block off that tube.

Can i get away with this w/o a problem?

you can get away with it if you are replacing the cat with a straight pipe.

that tube is called the split air pipe, and it can just vent to atm, you dont have to block it off or anything

Do a little searching and figure out what it is before you go yanking it off or venting it (wtf purpose does that serve? Guess you wouldn't know unless you read up on the subject).

And yes, the 2571 Engineering plates do come with a split air block off. Again, another reason I suggest you learn before mucking around in your engine bay. That will result in no good.

**** man, im sorry for the semi rude responce. I just reread my first post witch i had to retype due to IE being a POS, i know it controlls the aux ports i was wondering if

1. the package i got came with the plate to block that off.

2. if i could just zip tie them open and suffer only low end loss. witch is fine cause n/a's are slow as *** off the line.
