quick question!!

ok so i let my bro drive my car, i use it come back and coolant is boiling. and it ran like ****. someone said that it could be the water seals bad which i hope arent. but today i filled it up and changed the spark plugs to my old plugs. so then i take it for a spin. acceleration is back and coolant stayed. so i have no clue what happened anyone ever have this happen to them. or know why it happened to me. i'm thinkin it was cause it lost pressure cause the little bolt at the end of the overflow tank came off. could that have done the trick.

Yep I have been there done that and never figured it out. I have changed the water pump, which needed it, flushed the coolant, changed the thermostat, changed the radiator cap. I did everything, checked the fan clutch, everything. It did it, then it ran fine for a while, then it did it again. I don't know what it is. Its about to go in the shop. Do you happen to have an intake or have your AFM turned?
