quick question

I've been told that for the walbro 255lhp u dont need all the stuff that it comes with... for example the o ring and white plastic cap thing... is this true and are there any other parts of the instalation kit that are uneccessary?

o ring if you did need it could be bought at any hardware store for $.25.
