quick question

I was looking in the RX7 store and came across the dps for the 88-91 turbo. Well heres the link

http://66.216.67.51/product.asp?0=210&1=254&3=585

but wtf is the pre silencer, will this remove all the cats from the catback ? If i purchase this would I be able to bolt up a N1 straight up ? Thanks

"the use of our presilencer (or a suitable replacement) is required to connect this assembly to the connecting pipe."

I'm pretty certain this means that it will bolt up to the stock catback. I believe it replaces everything from the turbo back to the start of the Y pipe (with the presilencer). The presilencer quiets down the exhaust a bit. If you've got an N1, it's probably a good idea.

With racing beat, they wanna steal more of your money, so they make it so their DP won't bolt to the stock cat, therefore you have to buy their Presilencer (midpipe) to replace the cat. The Presilencer WILL bolt up to the stock catback, as well as any stock fitting replacement, such as the N1 catback.
