The flanged end that connects to the throttle body is a triangle shape. From the center of the flat side to the center of the apex directly across from it is 4 inches. The opposite side is round and is 3 1/2 inches across.

BTW, just a note to anyone... Dryer tubing, wrapped in pantyhose, soaked with a little fiberglass resin would make a great start for a FG CAI... don't you think? *GENIUS*
